Who am I…
I’m Amanda, principle designer, project manager and founder of Dufresne Design. I first got hooked on renovating homes when my husband and I bought a Minneapolis duplex built in 1900. With an excess of ideas, limited funds, and lots of hard work we turned the property into a home we loved. Throughout the years we have moved several times, restoring each old house, one at a time. In 2015 we put the brakes on moving our family again, and I turned my hobby into my work by purchasing and renovating investment properties. While pursuing my passion for renovating, I quickly learned I not only loved the house transformation, I reveled in the project management and problem solving that came with it. Along the way I also established relationships with reliable sub-contractors to make the magic happen. With Dufresne Design I’m sharing what I know and who I know, to save you time and money!
